Directors have the discretion to allow those within 100 points of a division
cutoff to play up. Players must be current National Scrabble® Association
members. You may join the NSA by adding $18 annual dues. Entries received with full
payment before May 1st will receive $10 cashback upon timely Saturday registration.
No entries will be accepted after 6pm, Friday May 24th.
No Walk-ins will be accepted!

Buffet lunch will be provided Saturday only.
The Pruneyard Shopping Center has a wide variety of restaurants available for lunch on Sunday.

PRIZES:
|
Cash prizes will be awarded to a minimum of the top 3 finishers in all
divisions. Additionally, the highest-placed finisher in the
lower half (based on NSA rating list) of each division will
be awarded a cash prize (limit one prize per contestant). Actual prize
amounts will be determined based on the number of entrants. The directors
for this tournament are not paid, and all after-expense funds are intended
to be awarded as prize money. New! The first prize winner in each
division will also receive a special one-time only engraved medallion.

LODGING:
|
Pruneyard Inn has reserved rooms
at $89/night rate to tournament players for either single or double
occupancy, including continental breakfast. These rooms
must be reserved before May 1st by calling (800) 559-4344.
Mention the Scrabble tournament.

LOCAL CHARM:
|
The Pruneyard Shopping Center has a wide variety of restaurants, as well as
shopping. The revitalized downtown Campbell is nearby, and Los Gatos and
San Jose are a short drive away.
|
|
DIRECTIONS:
|
Campbell is about 5 miles south of the San Jose International Airport, and
the Pruneyard Towers (located in the same Pruneyard Shopping Center as the
Pruneyard Inn) can be seen from at least a mile away.
From the airport, take I-880 South (toward Los Gatos/Santa Cruz), just past
I-280 to the Hamilton Avenue exit. Turn left onto Hamilton Avenue.
Turn right at the third stoplight onto Bascom Avenue.
Pruneyard Inn will be in the Pruneyard Shopping Center
on the second block on the right.
