Directors have the discretion to allow those within 100 points of a division
cutoff to play up. Players must be current National Scrabble® Association
members. You may join the NSA by adding $18 annual dues. Entries received after
May 23rd, add $10. No entries will be accepted after 6pm, Friday May 28th.
No Walk-ins will be accepted!

LUNCH:

Entry fee includes lunch in the Pruneyard Inn lobby on
both Saturday and Sunday.

Registration begins at 9am, Play starts as soon after 9:30am as we're ready.

Play starts promptly at 9am, Awards Ceremony follows after last game.

PRIZES:
|
Cash prizes will be awarded to a minimum of the top 3 finishers in all
divisions. Additionally, the highest-placed finisher in the
lower half of each division (based on NSA rating list) will
be awarded a cash prize (limit one prize per contestant). Actual prize
amounts will be determined based on the number of entrants. The directors
for this tournament are not paid, and all after-expense funds are intended
to be awarded as prize money.

LODGING:
|
Pruneyard Inn has reserved rooms
at $89/night rate to tournament players for either single or double
occupancy, including continental breakfast. These rooms
must be reserved before May 8th by calling (800) 559-4344.
Mention the Scrabble tournament.

DIRECTIONS:
|
Campbell is about 5 miles south of the San Jose International Airport, and
the Pruneyard Towers (located in the same Pruneyard Shopping Center as the
Pruneyard Inn) are the tallest buildings in Silicon Valley.
From the airport, take I-880 South (toward Los Gatos/Santa Cruz), just past
I-280 to the Hamilton Avenue exit. Turn left onto Hamilton Avenue.
Turn right at the third stoplight onto Bascom Avenue.
Pruneyard Inn will be in the Pruneyard Shopping Center
on the second block on the right.
