Well, Austin has about eight access channels, actually.
10: Austin Community Access (mostly series and community affairs)
11: Austin Community Access (mostly religious)
16: Austin Community Access (longer shows and more experimental work)
15: Austin Music Television
6: City of Austin Access (city council meetings)
8: Austin Independent School District Access
17: Travis Country Access
18: Austin Community College Access
all on cable, with AM15 sent out on the low-power UT television
station at night (KVR9).

That sounds about right. Speaking of pager patents, I was thinking
about a pager with a DTMF encoder that you could use to dial
the number on the display, and I mentioned this to the local head
Paging guy. Apparently, this idea has been thought of before, and
some other company has the patent.
Motorola does have a pager in a cell phone battery. Makes a neat combo
of communication devices.
