(COOLLIST) Second Show Update

Well, (CL)ers, I've been doing some work on my second show since I got
Trippy a couple of weekends ago. Just this evening I ranted on camera
about David Byrne, blind dates with telemarketers, and Saturn dealers
that really are just one branch of a larger dealer conspiracy. I
already have the tape for the hacker segment (cordless telephones).
Now, I need to go out and shoot the local beer halls with their
microbreweries for my Sam Adams commercial parody (thanks to Dallas's
Zach Douglas for the suggestion). I also got to see if HEB or
Albertsons (local grocers) will let me shoot their bread aisles for a
similar parody. I've gotten the titles ready to tape off the Video
Toaster, and all the video game footage is on 3/4" for editing.

I should have both episodes 1 and 2 along with other non-show footage
of Austin with me on my early April Georgia trip. I'll also bring a
good episode of the Show With No Name so you can see what that's all
about.

BTW, a big congratulations to (CL)er Gary Anthony who graduates from
UGA's film and television program real soon now. I met Gary when I
was in 7th grade and we've been friends ever since. I still remember
playing with his VIC-20 at 2 A.M. in the morning when I was 12.

Another CLer, recent Tech grad Preston Hunt, is now getting settled up
in Portland working for Intel. He's doing the same job I'm doing for
Moto--CAD work.

Finally... I saw a preview of the new Kids in the Hall movie on HBO
tonight. Scott Thompson and Strick are starting to look alike with
Scott's new hairdo. Hmmm.... the clips of the movie look very good,
but I don't know when it will be released. It's a bunch of the KITH
characters plus some new ones all put into a plot about pills that
cure depression.

Toodles!
