(COOLLIST) KITH Movie Update
Sorry about all the mail, but this was neat.
Joel Traywick, high school buddy, new face in Hollywood, lover of
Jenny in the Georgia Lottery commercials, and (CL) reader, indicates
that he saw a test screening of the Kids in the Hall Movie.
Apparently, it was very funny until a rather poor ending. Let's hope
they can recut things to improve the finish, although I wonder. KITH
brought an interesting narrative style to sketch comedy. Often, they
would have skits with no beginning or end, just playing the funny bits
with the audience filling in any details. Could studio pressures be
corrupting something that fits their style into something that fits
the standard profile, producing lameness in its wake. Who knows?
Anyway, I await it eagerly. Blick out.
