It just happened, and I know how.

I was online when I heard a rumbling from the kitchen.  Walking back,
I found my pager had moved from its location on the counter.  Hmmm, I
wonder why I was paged.  The message: "Is your web site the best kept
secret in the Internet?" and then a sales blurb for a company that
will register sites with various search engines.  I know exactly how
they did it: the mailto link on CombeeWeb that sends mail to my pager.

So, there really isn't much to be learned by this, and it was a lot
better than the 809 spam some pages have been getting.  I just found
it interesting.
