Arvika Festivalen (Sweden's Synthpop festival) http://www.galaxen.se

Arvika Festivalen: And One played... and he imitated Dave Gahan from 101 on stage. I just had to catch one of his poses.

Arvika: Pluxus is as improvisational as a synthpop band can be. They doodle on their keyboards and churn out silly pop tunes. I love their work.

Arvika: Welle Erdball was the best live act at the festival in my opinion. They're from Germany... and have the C64 sound and pure synth sound down like only a German band could.

Arvika Festivalen: The "characters" and the weather made the environment great. (All though it rained almost all of one day.. good ol' Sweden).

Arvika: I would usually wake up to people blasting synth songs, dancing, and making a ruccus outside my tent. I had to capture this moment.

Arvika: At festivals, it's impossible to stay clean, I wondered how these people were able to keep cool hairdos and wear fasionable clothes at these festivals.

Arvika: Of course, not all were fashionably clad. I guess it's just easier to leave the muddied clothes behind from the last rain.

Arvika: Synth grafitti is cool.....
